The Alberta Enterprise Group (AEG) Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of President Tim Shipton, who will assume a senior position with the Edmonton Oilers.
Mr. Shipton will remain with the organization until after the November 12-13 Rendezvous Alberta series of events in Calgary, which will see a delegation of Quebec business leaders visit Alberta and explore partnerships with Alberta energy firms.
“We thank Tim for his service to the organization and his leadership,” said AEG Chairman Bruno Muller. “Tim was a driving force behind Alberta Enterprise Group becoming such a tremendous voice for Alberta and the Alberta business community. On behalf of all AEG members, I wish a healthy and prosperous future for Tim, his wife Jodie and his two children.”
In the coming weeks the AEG Board of Directors will reconvene develop a transition plan for the organization.
