Don Lucas is the founder and CEO of Encore Trucking & Transport Ltd., an Edmonton-based crane, picker truck, and transport company that has been servicing Western Canada for over 40 years. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Don brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the company and its customers.
Don is highly skilled in heavy and challenging hoist work and specializes in providing quality and safe crane and picker truck services. He built a fleet of over 65 trucks that ranges from 6 ton to 70 ton and specialized equipment that includes small pick-ups, deck trucks, tractors, picker trucks, jack & roll crews and a mini crane rental fleet. The company also possesses over 125 open deck trailers of various sizes and types that allow them to haul all types of commodities, from pre-cast concrete, overhead cranes and building materials to rocks, artwork and electrical equipment.
Under Don’s leadership, Encore Trucking has become known for its commitment to customer service, safety, and innovation. He has led the company to develop a unique approach to support women and children in need of safe shelter and combating homelessness among victims of domestic abuse.
