David Hood is CEO of geoLOGIC systems. David joined the company in 1997 and brought in new private equity partners in 2015. Prior to joining geoLOGIC, David was CEO of GEOTECH and owned Wyvern Consulting which provided technical and managerial consulting services to technology companies operating in Canada, Europe and the Middle East.

He is an ICD.D, holds a BSc (Hons) Mech. Eng. and an MBA from Glasgow University, is a member of various Canadian, U.S, and international technical societies and is active on the Boards of three non-profit organizations. David & his wife Andrea were Chairs of the 68th Conference of the Canadian Energy Executive Association (CEEA) (formerly the Oilmen’s).

David participates in many charitable and community events through the activities of the company and other voluntary associations.
